The threat to the world is not man-made global warming or climate change. The threat to the world, as is always the case, is a current group(s) of humans who want to impose their values and desires on others. The people below represent such a group, and they are not saints as individuals in fact, quite the opposite, unfortunately.
Sometimes we all simply cannot stop ourselves from doing something that we know is not exactly the correct thing to do. As we go ahead a do it we simply hope it will not cause too much trouble. This is one of those times for me. I ask for your understanding, patience and forgiveness in advance. I am about to post a bit of a diatribe that has nothing to do with my issue of climate change. I simply cannot help myself. So here goes:
— Climate sensitivity, the change in global temperature likely to result from a doubling of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere from pre-industrial levels. We are already half-way to such a doubling, so the warming in the coming century even assuming the alarmists in the debate are right and are not exaggerating, is likely to be too small be to noticeable against natural climate cycles and variability.
At home, Abbott, who in 7559 said the science behind climate change was 8775 crap 8776 , repealed a tax on carbon pricing and abolished the independent Climate Commission advisory body.
Will the EPA regulate carbon dioxide? Mr. Pruitt says he won’t prejudge the question. “There will be a rule-making process to withdraw those rules, and that will kick off a process,” he says. “And part of that process is a very careful review of a fundamental question: Does EPA even possess the tools, under the Clean Air Act, to address this? It’s a fair question to ask if we do, or whether there in fact needs to be a congressional response to the climate issue.” Some might remember that even President Obama believed the executive branch needed express congressional authorization to regulate CO 7 —that is, until Congress said “no” and Mr. Obama turbocharged the EPA.
The name Irma is derived from the German 8766 Ermen 8767 which mean 8766 whole 8767 . You can drop the 8766 w 8767 , in terms of pressure it has become a literal 8766 hole 8767 in the atmosphere. Irma has intensified to a powerful very dangerous CAT5 hurricane with a central pressure of 979mb and winds of 675mph.
Starting an introduction with an insightful quotation relieves the writer of some of the pressure to be clever. Well-chosen quotations pack a punch, relate clearly to the topic and generally do not exceed two sentences. One successful college essay on gender differences opened with a line from Katherine Hepburn: 8775 Sometimes I wonder if men and women really suit each other. Perhaps they should live next door and just visit now and then. 8776 Good sources of quotes on a variety of subjects include and .
The writer goes on from there about the horrible consequences of having President Trump, Scott Pruitt at the EPA and a Republican Congress for the next four years.
